Say hello to warmer colors, and goodbye to minimalism. It appears that several interior designers and industry insiders are saying you should be ready to introduce color into your decor.

Janice Simonsen of IKEA Designs is seeing the same move toward bright colors. Black and white are allowed to stay, but only if they share the room with some surprise and offbeat combinations.  She says that fruit colors such as lime yellow, kiwi, and tangerine are very popular especially when used in the kitchen.  But blue will continue to be the number one color choice for homeowners.  The trend with blue is to combine it with camel and tan, pale green and yellow.
